The Red Thread is a reading group that explores leftist political theory through its great (and not-so-great) works of radical literature. It’s a space to engage in candid, constructive dialogue, without proselytizing for any particular ‘denomination’ of the left. If you're interested in learning about revolutionary, emancipatory theory, focused on the liberation of the working class and the preservation of Earth's vital ecology – or even if you're just disillusioned with contemporary American politics – then The Red Thread might be a home for you. From Libertarian Socialists to Marxist-Leninists (or even curious nonradicals), you are welcome!
